Welcome to my bedroom!! If you were on my home remodel journey with me last year, you know it has been long awaited. I am absolutely in love with my bedroom space. With my home I wanted each room to have it’s own feel and look while tying into the same style. When designing my bedroom, I wanted this space to be my safe zone to feel comfortable and cozy. Ya’ll know I love black and gold detailing. I incorporated that throughout my house and of course did the same in my bedroom. My bedroom was a space I wanted to feel modern, sexy and moody. A ton of you have been asking, so I am giving you all the details to everything in this room!

My bed is probably my favorite feature in this room. I wanted something unique and not just an average bed frame. When I discovered this black and gold asymmetrical style, I absolutely had to have it. It compliments this space so well and looked even better in person! Since this is where I sleep every night, I treated myself to some bamboo sheets and they are purchase I do not regret spending a little extra money on. I have a similar chandelier shown above, because the one I have in my home is from a local retailer. If you have been following me for a little while, you know I love crystal chandeliers and this one did not disappoint.
One of the essential bedding items I cannot live without are our Harper Ellis Silk Pillowcases! They are 100% mulberry silk which is the highest quality silk on the market. They prevent tangles, breakage, and are anti-frizz. Plus, silk pillowcases are great for your skin!

I definitely wanted side tables on each side of the bed to tie in more cohesiveness since my bed is asymmetrical. I have this gold hanging lamp on each table, with decorative books. Decorative books are one of my favorite pieces of decor because they look more luxury in a space. Plus, you can get these for a great price!

I have this living area in my bedroom so I wanted to use it to it’s best ability. This living space is one of my favorite parts of my room because you can unwind, relax, read a book or have a glass of wine before bed. I have a ton of pictures and special moments I’ve captured over the years that I wanted to feature. These gold picture frames were perfect because they are all the same size and have an ivory color mat to keep the correct size of each image.

Life hack… have a bar cart in your bedroom. Unwind after a long day with a glass of wine and catch up with your significant other. It adds a little flare to the room and if you know my wine obsession, of course I have it accessible in my bedroom! I’ve received a bunch of questions about my standing mirror and where it is from since it is round with a square bottom. This one is from Amazon and it comes in a couple different sizes.
