I’m going to keep it real with you: healthy eating doesn’t necessarily come easy to me. I am definitely one of those people who has no shame in hitting the drive-thru between meetings, if I’m running behind. If I’m going to eat well, it needs to be simple.

First things first, I DO NOT go to the grocery store and absolutely load up. I get so overwhelmed and hate spending money on a bunch groceries that I may or may not have a chance to eat! I like preparing two staple meals that I can reach for all week long! Here are a couple of meals that I like to make for when I need something quick & easy!

Meal One: Turkey Sausage Sheet Pan & Veggies

  • I chop up one pack of turkey sausage, halve up some Brussel sprouts, and dice up a sweet potato. Combine all the ingredients & put on a sheet pan.
  • Drizzle olive oil, add paprika, salt & pepper to add flavor, and bake on 400º for 30 minutes!

Bam! You have a dish that is that simple. I like to make enough to last me at least one meal a day during the week! You can make this dish when you want something light & feel good about eating your veggies! I am constantly on the go, so having something that is simple to throw in a container is something I absolutely need.

Meal Two: Juicy Air Fryer Chicken

  • Season a pack of chicken breast with olive oil, oregano, paprika, garlic powder, and salt & pepper. Throw chicken in the air fryer for 15 minutes at 370º
  • Chop up mushrooms and zucchini, season with salt and pepper, and throw those in the air fryer at 400º for 12 min.

I divide these two meals into six different containers for easy grab meals throughout the week! I love these containers because they’re so easy to stick in the dishwasher! (And throw away if I leave it in my car too long! Jk…kinda!)

These are the types of meal prep containers that I like to use, that make my life just a lot simpler when I am constantly in & out of the salon! You can throw these in your bag & be ready to go! I enjoy fridge organization as well, to make things sleek & easy to find. These acrylic fridge containers I will use to throw drinks or little on-the-go snacks in & it makes your fridge look cute!

Healthy Eating: Home Supplies

Yeti Cooler | Aquafit Water Jug | Stanley Tumbler with Straw | Air Fryer | Hydro Jug | Insulated Meal Prep Cooler | RTIC Cooler

If you struggle with your water intake I HIGHLY recommend these water jugs because you can get a whole gallon of water in! It does look a little intimidating but your body will appreciate you! You can never drink enough water, so having a constant supply is very handy. Also, you will want to drink it to make it less heavy! (LOL) I added some of my favorite coolers as well! These are life savers for when you’re on a road trip trying to eat healthy!

Healthy Eating: Healthy Snacks

When you are attempting to diet for the 1st time, or even if this is your 30th time, the cravings still kick in. I don’t know about you, but I still crave that salty / sweet taste of something that’s most likely unhealthy. I have discovered some of my favorite snacks that actually taste good, and fights that urge to want to dive into the chips & queso, or ice cream. The Verb Energy Bars contain caffeine, so when are dragging and need that extra boost these are my go-to’s! I like to buy snacks that make me feel like I am not “eating healthy” but actually are good for my body. Things like Skinny Pop Popcorn, the Quest Chips or the Highkey Mini Cookies that taste delicious but contain healthy ingredients!
